Who doesn’t want more laughter, love, and light in their lives? I for one, definitely do. It’s why I’m now writing a new series in a genre new to me – Romantic Comedies. And even more specifically later-in-life romantic comedies with themes of second chances and friends to lovers and found loves.
Sweet Romances
Mine are sweet romances without on page love scenes and any action is behind closed doors, but there may be more than just a kiss.Â
Length
These will be novella length books (20,000 to 30,000 words) so if you’re a busy woman like me you can still have an entertaining afternoon or evening read and actually feel successful by finishing a book! Or am I the only one who looks at a 400 page book and gets overwhelmed? Maybe because I’m also writing books, doing a podcast, making sure I get my physical fitness in, and being a wife and a mom. Your plate is probably just as full.
Books 1 and 2 are planned for release in 2024.
